The fixture looks terrific in my remodeled bath but unfortunately the way the product is constructed to hold the glass, especially on the bottom portion is a bit precarious so you have to be very careful when installing and changing bulbs. I have had to replace one portion and another is cracked but I am living with it. Also be aware that there IS a top and bottom which are different sizes.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We were having trouble finding an updated light fixture that would do 2 things. 1. It needed to put out plenty of light for the bathroom. 2. It had to replace the old vanity lighting that hung on each side of the mirror. No other fixture had fit this criteria. It's stylish, and the price was fair!
